Guides are not necessary for the easy hikes and walks around the resort grounds and trails, though Maikeli the Tour Guide is advisable if you wish to travel deep into the bush.
Many birds can be seen within the resort grounds. All but one of the following pictures of land birds were taken by me, wandering around the resort with a little digital point and push camera over the past few years from the deck of the restaurant! (Apologies for the amateur photography …)
